The Mabee Farm Historic Site will host a free two-day music festival as part of the regional celebration of Canal Fest 2008 Lock 7-12 on Saturday July 12th and Sunday July 13th.

The fun filled weekend will feature the music stylings of Jay Ungar & Molly Mason, Little Toby Walker, Roy Hurd, Yarn, Susan Trump, Riverview Ramblers, Gary Van Slyke, and Landfill Mountain Boys. See alpacas, a tinsmith, blacksmith, broom maker, glass blower, and artisans. Watch as the replica 1614 Dutch yacht the Onrust is built. Great food by Mosall's Grove and hayrides on Sunday. Great fun for the whole family!

Boat Tours on the Wofford- $10.00 per person.
Learn about the fascinating history of the Mohawk River from the late 1600's to the present day. The 40 passenger Wofford's Captains are all U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Master Captains. One hour tours are scheduled both Saturday and Sunday at 12:30pm, 2pm, 3:30pm at the Mabee Farm. Call (518) 887-5073 for reservations. (More dates will be available in the future).
